The ST-2000XM CCD Camera |
|||||
|
Here is our newest CCD camera. With this camera we are able to photograph the sky through any one of our three telescopes - the 14" in the observatory, the 8" portable and the 5" portable. The camera worked very well in taking pictures of the transit of Venus on June 4, 2004 and in taking picture of Comet Holmes in October, 2007. The pictures below where taken with this extraordinary new CCD camera from the Santa Barbara Instruments Group (SBIG). Click on each of them to see a larger image. Here are the names of those who took them and examples of a few other pictures that have been taken with this camera. |
