Motels near Edwardsville

• 30 rooms have been saved for "SIUE-Physics" at the Comfort Inn.  They will be released on Thursday, October 12.  This is the motel closest to campus (2 miles).  It is at Rt. 157 and I-270.  The rate is $55 for a double.  There is a continental breakfast.  618-656-4900.
  

• The next closest motels are at Rt. 111 & I-270 (about 5 miles from campus).  There is a Holliday Inn Express at Pontoon Beach ($49).  Very few rooms are left for Friday night.  There are a few other motels at that exit.
  

• Several motels are about 7 miles away at Troy, Rt. 162 and I55-70.
  

• The list for Collinsville is at Rt. 157 & I55-70, which is about 10 miles from campus. Many of these are nearly full since there is a soccer tournament in the area.
