The Illinois Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers (ISAAPT) has been recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) as an official provider of Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDU's). This recognition allows ISAAPT to provide CPDU's for instructional delivery only. CPDU's will, therefore, be associated only with meeting workshops meeting this qualification. Upon completion of the pre-approved workshop activity, workshop leaders will provide official documentation and evaluation forms to participants. The documentation form is kept by the attendee, and the evaluation form is forwarded by the workshop presenter to the ISAAPT secretary. Workshop leaders forward a sign-in sheet consisting of the name/address/school district of each participant. The secretary will provide all forms, and maintain evaluation forms and sign-in sheets for a period of time not less than five years.
