1999 National AAPT High School Physics
Photo Contest
- The contest is open to any high school student.
- Photos must be 8"x10" (black and white or
color) and be taken by the student. There must be an
accompanying paragraph (<250 words) describing the physics in the photo.
- Photos should be accompanied by a
card with the following information PRINTED on the
card:
- Student's name
- Home address
- High school
- School address
- School phone number
- Teacher's name
- There are two categories of photos: Natural and
Contrived.
Vernier Software has
contributed prizes for first, second, third, and honorable
mention for each category.
The pictures should be sent to:

Pictures should be received by June 30, 1999. The
pictures will be displayed and judged at the summer meeting of
the National AAPT to be held
at the Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas, August 2-7, 1999.

Chicago sections of the American Association of Physics Teachers.
