Invited talk:  "Looking Back on Four Decades of Physics Research",  George W. Smith.  He was Principal Research Scientist and Director of General Motors Research Labs and is now retired. Friday at 4:30 pm.

Invited talk:  "Teaching Physics with Mössbauer Spectroscopy:  A Universal Interactive Tool", Jon Spijkerman, Ranger Scientific, Inc., Burleson, Texas.  Saturday at 11:00 am.

Panel Discussion, Friday at 3:00 pm. "Physics Outreach and Alliance", Panelists: Ann Brandon, Duane Ingram, James Rabchuk, Kimberly Shaw and Carl Wenning.

Workshop W1. "Teaching Buoyancy and Optics Using Inquiry", Carl Wenning, Illinois State University

Contributed papers including those of the Student Research Symposium are scheduled on Friday afternoon (1:00-2:45, 3:00-4:15) and Saturday morning (8:30-9:45, 10:00-11:00).  The Friday evening banquet will be at 6:30 pm.

The Council has a regular meeting scheduled for Saturday morning at 7:00 am.
