Workshop W2

"Robots in the College and High School Physics Classrooms, Part Two"

James Rabchuk
Physics Department
Western Illinois University, Macomb, Illinois

During the summer of 2006 the physics department of Western Illinois University offered a week long workshop for physics teachers, with an emphasis on how one can incorporate the principles of technological design in the teaching of physics. A main component of this workshop was the use of LEGO’s Robotics Invention kits. Take part in a hands-on workshop that will help you learn how robotics can help accomplish state goals 11 and 13.

Those who attended the Robots workshop at the Fall meeting of ISAAPT in Rock Island are welcome to come to this workshop.  Advanced projects will be available for you to work on.
