Parking on campus when classes are in session is always difficult. Therefore, meeting participants are urged to come to Friday's sessions in a carpool or use the hotel shuttle. There are a few metered spaces on Goodwin and Springfield Streets at a cost of $.25/20 minutes. There are also metered spaces in the lower level of Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and Lot D9 at the cost of $.50/hour. You can also park in the Shuttle lot at no cost. If you plan to do that, you need to send an e-mail to chubert@uiuc.edu and you will be sent a sign to place in the front window of your vehicle. On Friday after 5 pm and all day Saturday participants may park free of charge in lot B21 to the east of Loomis Lab. |
