Basic Physics I (PHYS-201L)

This lab course is a companion to your physics course covering the basic principles of mechanics, allowing you to learn concepts related to the course (some of which may be covered in lecture, some not) in a more hands-on, participatory way. You will also develop and understand the necessity of good experimental technique – tools we all use as we make discoveries and advances in science-based fields.

  1. Measurement and Uncertainty
  2. Constant Acceleration
  3. Momentum and Impulse
  4. Free Fall
  5. Projectile Motion
  6. Collisions in 2D
  7. Circular Motion
  8. Forces and Torques
  9. Rolling and Inertia
