If you like science and math and you love tinkering with things, engineering is an excellent field to work in. This page tabulates the various fields of engineering at the schools that are coordinated with Augustana's pre-engineering program and gives you convenient links to them. The list was updated on May 17, 2006.

This guide published in 2005 by the University of Illinois tells you what each field of engineering is all about. For each field it provides a general description, lists the type of activity, and indicates the career opportunities.
