|St. Thomas Church in Leipzig|
|The Lutheran and Note Cards - Erwin Weber - 1976|
My pen and ink sketches of historic buildings in Leipzig, such as St. Thomas Church are published in The Lutheran, magazine of the Lutheran Church in America. See Illustrated Articles: "With Pen and Ink in Leipzig" Vol. 14, #18, October 20, 1976. The sketch appears on a Note Card. The inscription reads, "St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, where Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) was a teacher and cantor for 27 years. His grave marker never seems to lack fresh flowers. This view of the church, founded in 1213, is from the east.
