|Bethlehem Lutheran Church - DeKalb, Illinois|
|Pamphlet - Erwin Weber - 1975|
Bethlehem Lutheran Church in DeKalb is one of three congregations of the Illinois Synod which grew out of Finnish immigration. Many other parishes of the Synod have benefited from Illinois' scattered Finnish immigration. Organized in 1896, the congregation completed a new structure in 1969 representative of the latest contemporary style of church architecture, a field in which Finns have been pioneers. Several other new buildings in the Synod are in a similar style.
